Ghanaian media personality and two-time Guinness World Record contender Afua Asantewaa has publicly addressed speculation surrounding her marriage, clarifying that she is separated from her husband but not divorced.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session with Fire Oja, she set the record straight, stating, “I am not divorced, we are separated,” in response to rumours that had circulated in recent months.
Afua Asantewaa and her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, had previously drawn admiration from the public, particularly during her rise to fame in 2023 following her Guinness World Record sing-a-thon attempt.
Their visible support for each other at the time made them one of the most talked-about couples in Ghana’s entertainment space.
However, questions about their relationship began to surface after her second attempt in 2024, when she shared a series of cryptic posts on social media that hinted at possible challenges in her personal life. Her latest comments now provide clarity on the situation.
